PostBus around Brienz and Meiringen
Travelling by PostBus means experiencing a piece of Swiss history. Thanks to the Hasliberg, Axalp and Rosenlaui lines, you can easily and conveniently explore countless hotspots around Brienz and Meiringen.
On the Hasliberg, you can discover enchanted forests and picturesque lake landscapes with PostBus. Unique excursion destinations such as the Ballenberg Open-Air Museum are pure recreational pleasure for young and old on the Hasliberg.
On the Axalp line, the PostBus takes you high above Lake Brienz to Axalp, offering magnificent views of the surrounding mountain world reflected in the turquoise waters of Lake Brienz. Awaiting you are varied hiking trails, a woodcarving trail with beautiful wooden sculptures and much more. The Axalp is also the annual scene of the famous aerial shooting.
On the Rosenlaui line you can take the post bus to the beautiful Rosenlaui. You will pass the unique Rosenlaui glacier gorge on your way up to Schwarzwaldalp and on to Grosse Scheidegg. From Grosse Scheidegg you can continue on to Grindelwald.
