Schynige Platte - Top of Swiss Tradition
Everybody who visits the SchynigePlatte with the rack and pinion railway feels they have returned to La Belle Epoque. The only nostalgia railway of this type in Switzerland covers the seven kilometre long trip in 50 minutes. The wooden benches in the carriages and rolling stock from the 19th century remind you of times gone by and the pioneering spirit in the Bernese Oberland.
One-of-a-kind panorama Experience
Perfect panoramic view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, as well as Lake Thun during the trip and a short walk (50 minutes) takes you to the Daube viewpoint from which Lake Brienz is also visible. Only Alpine garden in Switzerland.
