Our mountain inn offers the popular Stärnebett in comfortable and cozy double beds under a knoll in the open air. In the alpine hut a double room like mattress dormitory is available for overnight stay. On the panoramic terrace we serve our own cheese, cheese slices, cold platters, fine meringues with alpine nidle accompanied by a regional beer, a glass of wine from near and far or a coffee with cream with or without schnapps.
The following specialties are offered: Berner Alpkäse AOP, Berner Hobelkäse AOP, Mutschli, soft cheese, cream cheese and Nidletäfeli.

Seal of quality regio.garantie
The national quality seal regio.garantie identifies certified regional products that are produced with regional know-how, enthusiasm and passion. The certification guarantees consumers that the extraction of the raw materials and the processing of the products takes place in the respective region.
A non-compound product is 100% sourced from the named region. A composite product consists of at least 80% regional ingredients, of which the main ingredient must be entirely regional. For all regional products, it is also compulsory that at least 2/3 of the added value is generated in the region. If this is fulfilled, the product may be awarded the regio.garantie quality seal in combination with the corresponding regional brand. The regions are defined by zip code so that the origin of the raw materials and added value can be traced at any time. Food and non-food products such as wood and cosmetics can be awarded the regio.garantie seal of approval.
Anyone who buys a product marked with the national regio.garantie quality seal can rest assured that it has been inspected and certified by an independent body in accordance with the guidelines for regional brands issued by the Swiss Regional Brands Association.

«Das Beste der Region» is committed to promoting sales of regional products and thus increasing added value in the regions concerned. The association supports its affiliated regional brands from the cantons of Aargau, Bern, Jura, Solothurn, Zurich and Central Switzerland. As a member of the Swiss Regional Products Association, "Das Beste der Region" is a co-owner of the regio.garantie seal of quality, which serves to identify certified regional products. Today, under the umbrella of "Das Beste der Region", almost 6227 products from over 887 producers are already certified with the regio.garantie seal of quality.
